Alright, so the site is nearly complete, would like feedback

We're pretty close to functional. Ads are running, videos are live, and we're building out the writing corps. In the coming months, we'll roll out the annual features, like the draft tracker and whatnot.

I've said in the past that in the first year, my goal is mostly keeping the lights on. In year two, that's when we try to start making real gains.

So, now that you're all more comfortable with the site, what things do you like? What don't you like? Any and all feedback is appreciated.

BTW, my biggest open ticket is still restoring the old posts from previous installs of the forums. Our primary dev keeps getting pulled off it, but we'll get to it as soon as we can.

Already said, ads are too intrusive and will eventually drive me away

Can this go? It really breaks up the forums and at this stage do we need it? Yes the ads are annoying, but overall I'm happy, it's super easy to do things here , got some old members back and a few new members are posting ( is Radar new? ) more new members posting would be good

One thing I’ve also noticed today a couple of times is sometimes I’m typing a response and an ad tries to load and it wrecks the whole post.

What happens as you're typing? Does it take you out of the reply window or something? I'm unclear on what exactly is happening to ruin the post.

it was kinda creepy and I decided maybe I wasn’t supposed to post whatever it was (it was in yesterday’s IGT I think) I take those signs seriously

No real problems but it is easier on my pc than on my phone. I love the daily minor league game reports. If I could add anything to them, I’d like you to add a column with the positions in the box scores. It would be interesting   Say, if they’re playing an outfield prospect in the infield.

Ads:  I know why they’re here.  I wish there was a number you could give me that I could pay to make them go away when logged in.

Assuming that’s pie-in-the-sky, however, can they at least be in sensible places?  The ones that appear in the middle of the threads/topic listings?  Ok, I get it.  But the pop-up that comes up on mobile right above the address bar is awful and hinders us from using the site as intended.

This is an interesting idea. We're upgrading software around the ASB, I'll check to see if this is an option.

Overall, I am happy with the new place.  Took  little getting accustomed to it as does most change.  Pleased to have several former members return to the fold and join us commiserating about this miserable season.  I have pretty much learned to ignore the adds. 

Any one know what happened to KC.? I wish here were active here.  He seems to be the one longtime member that appears to have left.
