    Was awake for this one, except for the fact that the channel locally that airs WPIX games normally had instead opted to show game 2 of the NBA finals. So no Mets game for me :/

    Very atypically for me I was up for a bit of this one. Tuned in at 4-2 and watched Tong get taken yard and turned it right back off. Saw maybe 2 batters.

    Three straight wins. I'm on the verge of watching one of these days. It was too nice outside by 4 PM where I live so I took this game in on XM while I cooked and puttered. I will miss Howie Rose once he retires - while the other guys in the booth get the job done they ain't Howie.

    I was home and available and I watched not a bit of this game. I just can't right now. Life's too short.

    Once again I missed a decent chunk of this week's games as we were busy during the week and then on the road all weekend. I caught glimpses here and there and did tune in to the last half of their last win, on Thursday, which I enjoyed. But yeah they suck big rocks

    Brutal game. We were in northern Virginia for the weekend to visit family and listened to this one in its entirety on the drive home. Not a lot to get keyed up about tho

    Listened to the first few innings on my run and then watched the rest. Twas a good win. When they failed to score in the top of the 9th, and then allowed the leadoff double in the bottom of the 9th, I was convinced they were fucked, so it was nice that they pulled it out.

    I picked a good day to attend a Syracuse Mets game, watched them win under perfect warm sunny skies and by the time we got to the MLB Mets on the drive home all of the ugliness had happened already.

    May has been fun as a Mets fan. Now 10-5 since the calendar turned. Was out all day enjoying the sunshine and only caught the last two innings, which were magnificent

    They had this game on during my gig but I missed all of the scoring plays as I was really only able to pay attention to it between songs. Caught the last 4+ innings driving and then at home. Good win for the good guys.

    Caught our first Syracuse Mets game of 2026 yesterday, as my wife's work had a group meetup there and we sat up in the GA seats on a cool, cloudy, low 50's day and watched them lose 7-3. Not a ton of blue chippers in the lineup, though we did score free promotional Jonah Tong jersey tee shirts that are pretty nice. I'd have picked a more economical outing, personally - my son, who works in the gift shop, did not correctly put in our comp tickets request, so I had to pay for our seats which made me a bit surly. (Also because the weather was crud and my wife has some annoying coworkers). Two bleacher seats, parking, two (craft) beers, a hot dog, and a burger/fries basket for my wife and I set us back $100. For two people. We still had fun.

    Yeah I plan on stomaching ads and saving $25 so I don't see the need to show which of us are "premium" users. But that's just me.

    It was mentioned on the broadcast that he had also served a stint as the Braves GM and made the decisions to draft Glavine and trade for Smoltz, among others. Which I did not know.
