    Sports Night on SNY should find another moderator. He was okay for awhile but he's wearing on me with his over the top emotional outbursts. I understand he's entertaining but for me I'd prefer someone less entertaining and more informative or journalism.

    Mauricio/Vientos?? Did you say Mauricio/Vientos?? P!ease tell me what you see that I don't. I'd be surprised if they even are on this team if it's financially possible otherwise.

    I doubt they go 40 million for two more years. I'd look longer term less aav.

    I would like him to stay but with a restructuring of an extension. My feeling is at two year left at 42/mi. He will not opt out this off season. Maybe next year if plays well.

    Guess I'm close to an "old fart" after all I am 83 years young😂. In any case I personally don't think it adds anything for me to my enjoyment of the game much like football touchdown celebrations. Give it a 5.

    I hate to break it to you this team is worst since Boy Genius came to town. Not referring to trade dead line specifically. But yes as for the deadline we should have extended Holmes and kept Weaver in my opinion. The few good moves he's made just left. This team on paper and on the field is worse than when Boy Genuis arrived to the tune of 10 million a year to be a fail. Further the deadline is designed to get worse for bad teams but it is also for good teams to add. We can agree to disagree on this.

    Sorry, Edgy. We may disagree on this and that's fine. We're both fans of this team at the end of the day. But when I look at Stearns tenure and what he's paid and what I perceived as his arrogance and I'm the smartest guy around and where we were when he came here and where we are now I don't think he's lived up to his supposed reputation and certainly not to his pay grade. So no I don't think I'll be flipping on him anytime soon. I do appreciate your opinions though.

    Well we have taken a bad team Mr. Stearns and made it worst. Maybe a few prospects that really help our farm. Bottom line at end of day is Cohen and Stearns in my eye look pretty bad maybe bottom of league bad for.money spent. Sorry I didn't expect anymore from these guys. Can't fire the owner and I fear his ego won't allow him to fire Mr. Genius. It's not today's moves but the position the Cohen/Stearns team is got us in while spending all this money. PATHETIC!!

    That's what I'm saying specifically about the original Paralta trade. I at the time was okay with it. I do question why he looked so bad here. Coaching needs to be looked at. Maybe last years coaches could have helped. Maybe we didn't want to pay them? If you bargain shop players why wouldn't you bargain shop coaches?

    Overall agree but in hindsight I think we'd rather have what we spent getting Paralta than what we got for him, but that's hindsight.

    Stearns can redeem himself a bit by extension for Clay and keeping Weaver. Unfortunately don't seeing that happening as it looks now.

    Fire Stearns. Peralta trade may go down as one of the worst. Watch him shine Rays on the Rays now. which makes you also question Boy Genuis coaching staffs. This guy is at this point Steve Cohen's biggest blunder. Don't think a year from now it will look better other than maybe Stevie will can him. Edit: when saying one of worst trades I'm referring that we gave two high prospects in the end for three much lower prospects. Not saying I was against the trade for Paralta to begin with.

    If owner/Stearns really want to compete next year they would have extended Clay and kept Weaver at least. Of course they will say we're going to compete. Got to sell them season tickets Ya know.

    Because that's the Stearn way. Cohen seems to agree with him which makes it even worst. Hope I'm wrong but not expecting much change. I'm now as worried about our owner as I am our POB.

    Won't recognize half this team here on out. Why don't I trust Stearns to give us a competitive team next year? Why would it change now.😡

    Good game. Weaver ups his value. Hate to see him go but hoping for good return.

    Too bad. Had high hopes too. Wonder if he's gone in eight days.
