  1. Hey so in addition to shooting that video (which seems to have gone low-key viral) this game was distinguished by us sitting just to the left of Gary Keith & Ron who called the game from section 319. No real chance to interact with them so we let them inspired us instead
  2. The Tuesday Night Mets 2026 in one clip Instagram WWW.INSTAGRAM.COM Create an account or log in to Instagram - Share what you're into with the people who get you.
  3. The TNMC has been around and decided behind home plate is the place to be
  4. World's first AI baseball player
  5. As a matter of taste, I prefer Mets-bred guys to non-Mets bred guys but the bullpen is going to churn no matter what. The rules and the way the game is played at this time virtually assures it. Brand-name relievers are good things to have in case you're not contending like the Mets this year but other than that who cares. An out is an out. Most pro pitchers can get them.
  6. Final Tuesday Night Mets tilt of the year. We upgraded to the 300s for this one Alonso is a quality Tuesday Night player; he whalloped his club record homer on a Tuesday last year, so I'm fully expecting 1 or 3 homers tonight.
  7. Hey cool the Mets got Derek Jeter's oldest son.
  8. So I conflate this movie with Singles, everyone probably does, but the one I was thinking of as this played was St Elmos Fire, which was also about recent grads with their heads up their asses. But the St Elmos crowd couldn't wait to be a part of the boomer world they were inheriting, while the cynical Gen Xxxers of Reality Bites were completely against that shit. While totally overdoing that point the flick did a good job of forecasting where reality TV was going. People were worried about AIDS and coming out. Ben Stiller directed, it was his first, and it wasn't great. Winona winds up with the wrong guy, The movie had to have been backed by Phillip Morris--incredible amount of gratuitous smoking. Steve Zahn is funny but hardly gets any lines. Some contemporary songs get played but big moments are for the oldies like My Sharona. In summary you should watch it again and relive 94 magic Somehow my poll has only 2 choices so pretend 1 = it totally bites and 2 = it doesnt bite
  9. I used to believe in Alvy. I don't believe in Alvy anymore
  10. Zacky gone whacky
  11. Looked like he was in slow motion to end the game too. What a waste of money
  12. I don't even remember the first series
  13. She's a typewriter
  14. I keep thinking of the Jerry Manuel parallel. The team performed much better under him than under Wee Willie Small Balls but circumstances changed too. That year, the Mets had 4 West Coast trips by the time WWSB was whacked and none afterward. WWSB: 34-35, .493 Jer-ree: 55-38, .591 Green is benefitting from a healthier Lindor and less healthy Vientos than Mendy got. They are still not a great team. I'd like to see the entire staff whacked.
