Since the O's are taken and I don't like sloppy seconds (by now frantic fifths?) I'll revert to my long time admiration for the Twins, going back to the days of Carew, Killebrew, Allison and Oliva.

The fact that they always seemed to gag against the MFYs tempered my enthusiasm for a while. But I still can root for them.

I was just at my first game at Camden Yards and saw the Mets get clobbered in the first game of that series (James McCann, grrr). Orioles fans sitting around us couldn't be nicer, plus it has been a really long time since the Orioles have even been in the World Series.

Even when the O's are losing, Oriole fans have always been, in my experience, majorly cool to out-of-town fans.
