  1. Green should resign.
  2. Thos team sucks. They can't trade enough of them for me
  3. Brazzo and Raley getting hugs
  4. Pitre is hitting 300 at AA. Hill is a New Yorker. Smith appears to be sucking.
  5. Saturday Afternoon Mets Club to be there for this one.
  6. Enough with the scratchin' Let's get on with GTFOin'
  7. This is the kinda trade deadline action I like.
  8. Could be Vance Wilson in that case
  9. More memorable as a Brave than as a Met. To the extent a competent guy in the bullpen is a total rarity today he was really accomplished but as a Met he was going to waste--we can finish 17 out without him.
  10. And each shares the initials of the influential bible of prospect-ranking, Baseball America. It's a sign!
  11. I barely even knew Minter was on the Mets anyway. Easy come easy go. LET'S GO BRUIN
  12. 2 shitty prospects! I hope this doesn't set the market
  13. This feels like the first time the Mets are actually using strategy in months
  14. Call Carmel and be on time! Worldwide! And nationwide! 666-66 sixty-six. Remember six!
  15. what I was thinking about was who on the current team can claim the deepest roots in the org. Two candidates might be on the move again soon (players who get traded tend to get traded) but they only go back a few moves on the board Eduardo Escobar --> Coleman Crow --> Tyrone Taylor Max Scherzer-->Luisangel Acuna --> Luis Robert Jr.
  16. The Trade Chain when I started researching them wasn't supposed to include compensation picks and such but I guess they should "count." I couldn't tell you what the longest one is today. No idea
  17. Mike Nickeas was important to me even as a minor leaguer because for a time he represented the only hope that the Tim Bogar Trade Tree would continue to blossom and remarkably, he made it to the Mets (on a technicality as he was acquired in a trade but like like many minor league catchers, released and eventually resigned by the time he made it to the Mets). He even helped it sprout new leaves before they all died. Bogar --> Luis Lopez--> Bill Pulsipher --> Lenny Harris --> Jeromy Burnitz --> Victor Diaz -->Mike Nickeas -->John Buck, Noah Syndergaard, Travis d'Arnaud. Buck-->Dilson Hererra-->granted free agency Buck-->Vic Black-->granted free agency Syndergaard-->granted free agency d'Arnaud-->released
  18. That was a classic. Curly Blondy Squinty Blacky? ??
