He demonstrated - once upon a time - that he could mash. The nice thing about a lost season like this one is that the team can afford to experiment. Put him back in the lineup when he's healthy and see if he figures it out. If not, he's a non-tender at the end of the season or maybe even a DFA before that.

Asdrubal Cabrera is almost forgotten now, but he showed some good Metly power during the Kimbrel Era.
