    I cruised through 'disbelief' and now find myself mired in stage 2, 'anger.' I predict also skipping right over stage 3 ('bargaining') before settling in to a postseason where I wear stage 4 ('depression') like a fall flannel.

    I was watching, and working a zig saw puzzle That was a fantastic play I caught the broadcast of this play as I was driving. I was crestfallen as were the Pirate broadcasters.

    We've been watching them use it for some time here in AAA and it works great. Average review time is 13 seconds.

    I think this is good? I don't know what Nextstar in, I have Hulu which is the most affordable provider locally that offers SNY in the Cuse. So hopefully I get these games in a legit fashion as I've been watching pirated streams of WPIX games for many moons

    The Syracuse Mets' final homestand is next week. I hope to attend Tuesday and/or Thursday depending on the weather. As per Gary, though, Alvarez is likely to get called up tomorrow for the Reds series. He hit a grand slam yesterday for the AAA Mets in a road game. Acuna and Sproat also on the MLB roster, or facing impending call ups, meaning most of the most prominent 2025 Syracuse Mets are in the bigs at this point.

    We've watched him all year at Syracuse. He's got the goods. Tong and McLean have set the bar high for him ! I love that the MLB teams don't really have a book on any of these kids yet. I feel like historically the Mets have only been on the receiving end of being stymied by young call ups.

    At least we know whose fault it is that the Mets lost. If you start an IGT and they win, do your job ! Also it's really Ryan Helsley's fault, for sucking big rocks.

    There's no way he should have been pitching in any game where the difference in runs is less than 5-6 in either direction. The only thing he has to justify being used in a close game is what they gave up to acquire him. He's been dreadful as a Met - specifically of late, earned runs allowed in 7 of his last 10 appearances. Two of the three games in which he didn't give up an earned runs were ones the team won by ten runs.

    I love Sunday night Mets games. Except for the ESPN broadcast which is abysmal. Holmes getting the hook here after his normal parade of free passes.

    Oh good I was looking for more reasons to hate guys who wore that uniform, this works out nice for me.

    This makes sense to me - we've seen Alvarez and Vientos both struggle to put together successful seasons consecutively (though Vientos is finally making his case in August).

    I think I've seen him 3-4 times this year here in the Cuse. He's got the stuff. I am hopeful.
