  1. Apparently this game is gonna be on Peacock and not SNY. So that's some crap.
  2. He had good MLB numbers last year albeit a small sample (2.25 ERA in 14 IP). Here's hoping for the dead cat bounce with this guy
  3. We have a foldout couch, so that's two right there. Syracuse is nice in the summer.
  4. Senga's inclusion really requires a six man rotation. He can't take the ball every fifth day.
  5. Forgive me for sleeping on the guy with a career batting average south of the Mendoza line.
  6. Peralta certainly hit his (so far) high water mark last year but he also has a career ERA/WHIP of 3.59/1.13 and has started 30+ games each of the last three years. I like this deal. Sproat departing while Tong + McLean stay, which I think all along was the most likely outcome amongst those three.
  7. From the ******* of the bad hitting baseball god, obvi
  8. Acuna did not really have a spot in the 2025 plan, far as I could see. Fwife is pissed. Acuna was her favorite Syracuse Met the last two years. I am hoping Luis Robert is not the 2026 Cedric Mullins. Because the 2025 Cedric Mullins drank some ass
  9. Jones and Beltran were coincidentally born one day apart, on April 23 and 24, 1977 respectively.
  10. Ultimately he has to decide between the longer deal with the MFYs or the shorter, higher potential one with the Mets. But, you know, any day now, there, guy.
  11. He immediately becomes the best right handed hitter in the lineup. And so to me it's foolish to put him anywhere in the lineup that isn't immediately following Juan Soto.
  12. **** yes let's go
  13. **** the Dodgers, though, seriously.
  14. These guys are old toast. Hard pass
  15. Make it so, number one
  16. If Jared Young is the opening day DH, it means someone in the Mets' front office forgot to finish doing their job this winter.
  17. I like a reliever who looks like they sell meth in the off season. Hopefully the 2026 Mets get a guy to fill that role.
  18. You tell that to Jeff McNeil who's moving from the very plush Citi Field to a AAA bandbox in Sac-town
  19. Mine is McLean but that's based mostly on my optimism for what lies ahead.
  20. Yeah like they have a plan. I think it's hard to argue that the only two batters left on the FA market that could truly protect Soto in the lineup are Bellinger and Tucker and if they both sign elsewhere Soto will improve even more upon his NL leading BB total from 2024.
  21. Yep, first thing I thought of as well. Right field in Comiskey Park or whatever the hell the name is of the White Sox stadium
  22. I think this is the real reason. Keep Lindor happy by giving McNeil the ol shove-a-rooni
  23. Believe in the Weave
  24. This is my list. Tom Seaver Darryl Strawberry Dwight Gooden David Wright Mike Piazza Pete Alonso
  25. As soon as they win a WS title I forgive all of it. Until then he can **** right off
