  2. Mauricio looking like a guy who has not played in weeks. So there's that. Why not Vientos for Baty, is that a lefty/righty thing No legit feed at my house so I have to suffer through the Marlins broadcasters, as if this wasn't stressful enough
  3. Thanks. I keep kicking the ball around, figurately speaking
  4. Edgy MD wrote: I have not been big on Tyler Rogers, but something about me is happier to see him entering a game at the top of an inning than mid-inning. The broadcasters made comment on this too, saying Mendoza much prefers to use him at the start of an inning. I don't recall the reasoning they cited though.
  5. Sproat vs Alcantara. I have all kinds of feelings here
  6. I was watching, and working a zig saw puzzle That was a fantastic play I caught the broadcast of this play as I was driving. I was crestfallen as were the Pirate broadcasters.
  7. To run the table as a WC team you need 14 wins (3 WC, 3 LDS, 4 LCS, 4 WS). Between May 24 and June 12, before they fell off the side of the world, this team went 16-3. Just throwing it out there.
  8. McLean vs Imanaga. We'll know more by game time as the D-Bags and Reds both should have completed their games by first pitch. OE: this was game 159 in fact
  9. =Centerfield post_id=205518 time=1758776679 user_id=65] Tommy Edman two out drives home the go ahead run. Arizona fails to score bottom 11. Push day all around.
  10. A bunch of dead mathematicians all read this from heaven and got boners. The mathematicians in hell did, too, I think. But they could just have boners because hell is so metal
  11. I have thought this repeatedly for the past few years. Stop trying to hit a nine run home run every at bat.
  12. Diaz threw 27 pitches last night to get six outs. I wonder if they still trot him out there tonight if his services are required.
  13. We've been watching them use it for some time here in AAA and it works great. Average review time is 13 seconds.
  14. I'm calling him John Tango now. That hits hard. Hopefully the Cubs do not hit hard tonight.
  15. Of course the Reds keep winning. The fuckers. Mets 80-75, with 7 games left to play. The other teams: + 1.0 on CIN, 79-76, 7 to play (Cin has tiebreaker) + 2.0 on ARZ, 78-77, 7 to play (tiebreaker TBD) + 4.0 on SF, 76-79, 7 to play (Mets have tiebreaker)
  16. Mets 80-74, with 8 games left to play. The other teams: + 2.0 on CIN, 78-76, 8 to play (Cin has tiebreaker) + 3.0 on ARZ, 77-77, 8 to play (tiebreaker TBD) + 4.0 on SF, 76-78, 8 to play (Mets have tiebreaker) Would really like to see the Mets separate a little further from Cincy here, as CF sadly points out, that's really just a one game lead without the tiebreaker edge over the Reds.
  17. Didn't deGrom do this as a Met just as we were lamenting that we'd never see it happen any more?
  18. Mets 79-74, with 9 games left to play. The other teams: + 2.0 on ARZ, 77-76, 9 to play (tiebreaker TBD) + 2.0 on CIN, 77-76, 9 to play (Cin has tiebreaker) + 3.0 on SF, 76-77, 9 to play (Mets have tiebreaker) Reds move past Gints in the pecking order here. Hopefully the Mets can stay ahead of these guys for another week and a half. Today's slate - Mets host the Nationals, Diamondbacks host Philly, Reds continue their series at home vs the Cubs and Giants continue their series in LA
  19. Yeah, Pete. Keep your foot on the pedal, boys
  20. Love the shutdown inning by Tong immediately following the run scoring. That's how you should do it kid
  21. [bIGPURPLE]NIMMO BOOM[/bIGPURPLE]
  22. Mets 78-74 with 10 games left to play. The other teams: + 1.5 on ARZ, 77-76, 9 to play (tiebreaker TBD) + 2.0 on SF, 76-76, 10 to play (Mets have tiebreaker) + 2.0 on CIN, 76-76, 10 to play (CIN has tiebreaker)

  24. Mets 78-73 with 11 games left to play. The other teams: + 1.5 on ARZ, 77-75, 11 to play (tiebreaker TBD) + 3.0 on SF, 75-76, 11 to play (Mets have tiebreaker) + 3.0 on CIN, 75-76, 11 to play (CIN has tiebreaker) I think now we want to see a Mets win combined with a Giants win over Arizona, to help push that separation open a bit more. Matchups are the same today - Mets host Padres, Diamondbacks at Giants, Reds at Cards.
