  1. Yeah like they have a plan. I think it's hard to argue that the only two batters left on the FA market that could truly protect Soto in the lineup are Bellinger and Tucker and if they both sign elsewhere Soto will improve even more upon his NL leading BB total from 2024.
  2. Yep, first thing I thought of as well. Right field in Comiskey Park or whatever the hell the name is of the White Sox stadium
  3. I think this is the real reason. Keep Lindor happy by giving McNeil the ol shove-a-rooni
  4. Believe in the Weave
  5. This is my list. Tom Seaver Darryl Strawberry Dwight Gooden David Wright Mike Piazza Pete Alonso
  6. As soon as they win a WS title I forgive all of it. Until then he can **** right off
  7. Sounds pretty ****ed to me
  8. Super bummed to learn this. Really had fun watching Diaz shut teams down these last few years. When he was on his game he was lights out.
  9. I'm sure he's a huge piece of ****.
  10. Fantastic, thanks everyone
  11. I've never heard that guy's music but I'm pretty sure it sucks.
  12. You can tell much from three appearances. Ask Ebeneezer Scrooge.
  13. While I won't claim to be any kind of expert on PHP search, it doesn't appear that I've ever mady any funny jokes about this guy. You know, like saying that his full name is actually "Thy Wadcock," for example. Or something like that
  14. I want Tong 100 times out of 100 over Joe Ryan.
  15. Remember that time that he sucked? You know, the time he wore the Mets hat
  16. I appreciate those of you driving this and taking ownership to keep the lights on here. I wish I had the free time to be able to help more from a technical perspective. I guess I will just do my usual part by supplying all of the best dick jokes. It's a dirty job.
  17. Fully agree with other folks who support this as a quality 8th inning guy. He's no Diaz though
  18. I think this is it - in the locker room they're all gazing deep into each other's butts and recognizing that each of them does in fact possess an *******. And then they giggle about it because it's funny that you have a hole in your body that the poop falls out of. I mean, come on.
  19. I think this is it, really. This current administration has always emphasized strong up the middle defense and this would fall into that general category. He'll hit ninth only because there aren't ten guys in the lineup (what I call the "Rey Ordonez rule").
  20. That catch in the deGrom game is the first thing that popped into my head. Had tons of clutch hits and HRs over the years, too many for me to recall. I loved all of his "aw shucks" wholesome enjoyment of the game. The where he and the other Mets are taking season ticket orders stands out in my brain too.
  21. Hate it. Traded one of the only two good outfielders we had last year.
  22. If half of the bullpen didn't suck he wouldn't have to work the other half until their elbows exploded
  23. Except I think you’re quoting me. Never trust guitar dudes. They’re always high and sleep deprived from all those groupies. Easy for me to mix us up, we are both successful and good looking middle aged Mets fans with huge genitalia.
  24. Me, quoting me: "I know Stearns has earned some benefit of the doubt. And I'll wait to see who else he brings in. But right now I'm getting Adrian Houser flashbacks." Montas as a '25 Met: 9 GP, 7 GS, 3-2, 6.28 ERA, 1.60 WHIP. Houser as a '24 Met: 23 GP, 7 GS, 1-5, 5.84 ERA, 1.53 WHIP. Yeah, so, there you go
  25. Too bad they're still throwing the Apple TV garbage at us. I will watch those on pirated streams or listen to them on XM
