  1. I'm out on Ottoneu, never really wrapped my head around it TBH. Pulled out of my own $100 league that I've been running for 20 years, too. Tired of throwing my money away only to never win and always have the wrong guys in the lineup. The fun time league I play with you, ABNS, will likely be the only one I play this year, maybe that plus an occasional Fanduel bet as I have some FFL money left in my FD account.
  2. Anyone? I could set one up, we could have a live draft. Free of charge. Just need 12 (ideally) interested parties. I prefer to use Yahoo for this kind of thing, for reference. I have a draft Tuesday 9/8 but am free any other night this week or next.
  3. I'll be one and done in this format, it just doesn't work for me. The free agent process is too clunky and the web interface to the league is not intuitive to me at all. I don't follow the stats and don't particularly care.
  4. Pushed out to 7/15 now for those of you not getting the emails and whatnot.
  5. Yeah, my dad was a LL coach and so when that film came out in '76 I was a toddler, already spending every summer hanging around the practice and game fields while my dad coached. I've also never seen Breaking Away.
  6. This movie is funny and I think it holds up. Agreed with Edgy, married homeowners would see the humor in this particularly.
  7. Watched this on a plane. Heavy stuff. Seemed like it really could have been called "Rupert Pupkin: All Grown Up."
  8. I watched it on a long airplane ride last month. Liked it a great deal, I did.
  9. I already forgot how I did it, sorry. It was laborious, I can tell you that much.
  10. I'm more concerned about the fact that I have just 3 pitchers currently on my roster. All the rest of them were too terrible to keep even at bargain basement pricing. So, another question - is there any kind of 'setting lineups' in this league? Is that a daily or weekly event? Or does everyone on my roster contribute to the team stats every day?
  11. Well it turns out I had a lot of dogshit on my roster. I kept most of my higher end guys and I have $154 to spend on filling 26 spots. I predict a lot of $2 flyers in my future.
  12. Thanks, that helps.
  13. So I claimed JCL's team and I'm like $70 over the $400 cap. But I have no idea who to cut or how far under $400 I need to go to be able to effectively start 2020 anew.
  14. A Boy Named Seo wrote: It's cool, Fman. I dig it lots. Sorry, I was lame on the now-dead ESPN league! 3 apps was one too many, it turned out. I was also. I think most of the league was. It didn't help that I hate hate HATE ESPN's fantasy baseball league management product. It's clunky as hell. I've been using Yahoo for my own league for 20 years with much better results.
  15. OK can someone send me a link so I can see the existing teams and know which ones are open? Maybe I could have choices from the rosters being abandoned?
  16. And this is NL only? No wins, no saves? Has the whole world gone mad?
  17. OK my ESPN league didn't take, so I think I'm ready to give this Ottoneu thing another look. Someone give me the quick lowdown please.
  18. I had friends who enjoyed it. I'd never watch it because the premise is just too stupid for me to buy into.
  19. Not allowing fans to go downstairs is shitty. Even if you have to make people ask for a shoppers' pass. That's some corporate elitism run amok.
  20. My nerdish friends were super bonered up about this movie. I still wouldn't know what the hell was going on, I've seen virtually none of the last 20 years' worth of superhero movies.
  21. Right, it's a weekly choice. Week 1 is fluky because it's really a week and a half, both last and this week. You'll be able to edit your lineup for games starting April 8th.
  22. Turns out when you only have 8 teams and a few auto drafters, these things do not take long. The entire draft was all of 40 minutes. I like my team despite the fact that I didn't get a single Met. C Francisco Mejia 1B Jesus Aguilar 2B Travis Shaw 3B Nolan Arenado SS Jean Segura 2B/SS Garrett Hampson 1B/3B Kris Bryant OF Juan Soto OF Harrison Bader OF Jesse Winker OF Manuel Margot OF Franmil Reyes UTIL Raimel Tapia Bench Luis Urias Bench Michael Taylor PITCHERS P Stephen Strasburg P Sean Doolittle P Luis Castillo P Joey Lucchesi P Cole Hamels P Arodys Vizcaino P Matt Strahm P Michael Wacha P Julio Urias Bench Craig Stammen
  23. It's time, fellers! Hop on in the draft room is open for business.
  24. Not us. I did read on the Mets official site that there's a chance the big league team plays a game here in the 'Cuse sometime in the stretch between departing PSL and opening day. Which would be fucktacular.
  25. =nymr83 post_id=2486 time=1549506012 user_id=54] =seawolf17 post_id=2333 time=1549309586 user_id=91] Both Sunday nights are equally terrible for me, because I'm traveling all week that week in the middle. So whatever works for everyone else is good by me.
