I'll give this another try. I confess to blanking hard on it last year but I'll blame Covid related media fatigue for that.

The original is still funny to me - it came out when I was 11 years old and much of the humor I think was aimed right at me. Everything afterwards, including GBII, was and is garbage. I suffered through "Coming 2 America" because my family wanted to watch it. It stunk. You cannot recapture a funny feeling or vibe from 30 years ago. Sorry. Give me a new story, new characters, something funny that I haven't seen before.

I enjoyed the ever loving hell out of this movie. These performances were golden, and, yes, Sly and his group were I think the high point. Stevie too.

We're up to 7, nearly there. You may want to cap it at 8 because if we have 9 we are stuck, or we have to switch to roto scoring. Can't have a head to head league with an odd number of teams.

We could maybe just tweet out a link with some Mets hashtags #LGM and that sort of thing to find a few more folks to fill out the league ?

My son has a volleyball game that night. Is there anyway we could push the start back, even till say 8 PM? I won't get home till 6:30-ish and then still have to make a late supper.

Yeah really do need 8. With 8 you could do NL only. I don't care as much about head to head vs roto but a single league league actually is better suited for a group that small.

I'd be down. Yahoo is my preferred league mgmt site. I'd also prefer NL only especially if there are just 8 of us.
