I appreciate those of you driving this and taking ownership to keep the lights on here. I wish I had the free time to be able to help more from a technical perspective. I guess I will just do my usual part by supplying all of the best dick jokes. It's a dirty job.

I think this is it - in the locker room they're all gazing deep into each other's butts and recognizing that each of them does in fact possess an *******. And then they giggle about it because it's funny that you have a hole in your body that the poop falls out of. I mean, come on.

I think this is it, really. This current administration has always emphasized strong up the middle defense and this would fall into that general category. He'll hit ninth only because there aren't ten guys in the lineup (what I call the "Rey Ordonez rule").

That catch in the deGrom game is the first thing that popped into my head. Had tons of clutch hits and HRs over the years, too many for me to recall. I loved all of his "aw shucks" wholesome enjoyment of the game. The where he and the other Mets are taking season ticket orders stands out in my brain too.

I think Pete wants his own five (or six?) year deal. He's a much more proven power hitter than Naylor, who's exceeded 20 HRs exactly once in his career.

I may inadvertently watch some of any game that's on in a public place I find myself over the next few weeks, but that's it. At home, no baseball. That time has passed for 2025.

Yep. Still pretty pissed. It'll be worse tomorrow when I join my wife for our weekly brew pub trivia gathering with her coworkers. They always have baseball on the TVs there and I'm sure I'll have to listen to a bunch of mouth breathing MFY fans. Hopefully they'll be down 10-0 early.
