We saw him pitch six scoreless with 10 K's here in Syracuse yesterday. Kid has the goods.

Great day at the ballpark for FGirl and I as the Syracuse Mets came back from a 1-0 hole in the bottom of the 9th to score two runs and walk it off. They are 11-3 in the second half, putting them in first place in that regard. Alvarez went 0-3 but drew a walk with one out in the 9th to start the winning rally. Acuna was announced to be in the lineup but was a late scratch

Headed out to Rochester tonight to catch my first ever Syracuse Mets road game, with Fboy in tow, and hang out with Seawolf there. Expect to see Vientos, Acuna and Alvarez all in the lineup. Justin Hagenman scheduled to pitch.

My daughter is happiest about Alvarez being sent up to AAA as she has long crushed on him. Alas his rehab on the roster will start on the road as they are in Rochester this week. Fboy and I will be catching a game there with Seawolf on Tuesday

As per the Syracuse Mets' Instagram page, Mark Vientos is expected to be in the lineup tonight. We're attending tomorrow's game and hope to see him then.

Considering the game a sunk cost and spelling the rest of the pen, prior to an off day, essentially giving everyone besides Stanek a two day break.

The Syracuse Mets lost 9-4 - Sproat cruised through innings 1-4 but then got lit up in the 5th. Mauricio went 3-4 with 2 RBIs, including a no doubt home run in the 9th inning. He's legit.

Attending my 4th Syracuse Mets game of the season. My wife and daughter have yet to attend any since it's always 53 and cloudy here. Ronny Mauricio playing third and batting second. Brandon Sproat on the bump.

This is about as bad as it's been, ever. Every page load is 30-60 seconds -
We were hoping to catch McNeil or Alvarez on rehab starts in the 'Cuse but they are in Worcester this week. Which is a bummer

Glove tossing malcontent Jorge Lopez, now a National, bounced from yesterday's game for hitting a batter and then throwing at Andrew McCutchen's head. The next Nats pitcher subsequently gave up a grand slam.

Looks good from the trailer and has good reviews. I cannot endure a movie theater at this point in my life, I'm too old and too annoyed by commercials and adjacent phones and really just everything that is stupid and annoying, so I'll have to catch it once it's streaming.

The Mets' web site seems to think the most likely plan, should Taylor continue to suck wind, is to have Acuna play more CF and then use Baty and ultimately McNeil at 2B.

Cookie Carrasco off to a rough start in the Bronx, an ERA of 7.71 and topping out at 92 MPH on his fastball. The end is nigh methinks. Meanwhile, Dom Smith toiling away for the Yanquis' AAA team at 1B, where he was spotted by yours truly at a Syracuse Mets game last week.

I don't think it's official till I see a Mets onesie. Also how do you decide whether Soto debuted before Holmes? The Mets opened the game in the field meaning the debuted at the same moment, didn't they?

I'd like it more if the Bronx giraffe was always wearing a different MFY jersey, all of which had both the number and the name written on the back, like their dumb ass fans wear.
