I remember when he broadcast the Nets games. After being a Met station for many years, I remember when I heard that WFAN would be carrying the MFY games, and thought that hearing Jon's voice on WFAN would be like seeing Yassir Arafat at a bar mitzvah. Olevai Shalom Later

He's one of those (rare ?) dudes who has a higher BA in the majors .(250 over 2 years) than he has in the minors (.247 over 9 seasons). Some power , too. It will be interesting to see how, and at what position, he will be used. Later

Ewing, was promoted to Triple-A on Monday after tearing up Double-A Binghamton. In 81 plate appearances over 18 games for Binghamton this season, Ewing slashed .349/.481/.571 (1.053 OPS) with two homers, six doubles, one triple, and 12 stolen bases. Later
