The Braves struck a deal to hire Walt Weiss as their next manager on Monday afternoon, the team announced. Weiss, who has been the team's bench coach since 2018, will replace Brian Snitker as their manager. Later

One more thing to be considered. Diaper Don has said that Clemens belongs in the hall. (They've played golf together). And since some ballplayers (and other possible voters Edgy mentioned) tend to be conservative, that might sway their votes toward the fat coward, bat tosser getting in. Later

His 2024 ERA of 3.47 seems to be an outlier among his 2020-2025 3.90 and over 4 ERAs. Sell while the other GM feels his pitching coach and/or medical staff can get him back on track. Christopher Antonio Suero Is a homie - a Bronx born 21 year old with a world of potential. His calling card is his ability to catch as well as play first and the outfield. The Mets announced that Francisco Lindor underwent a debridement procedure on his right elbow after the 2025 season. Lindor previously had surgery on the same elbow to remove a bone spur following the 2023 season and went on to have a fully healthy Spring Training and 2024 season (in terms of his elbow, at least). This debridement procedure - typically a minor operation to remove scar tissue of some kind - is more than likely to have little to no impact on Lindor’s readiness for 2026.(all exhale) Later
