Binghamton is coming to Hartford this week and I'll be there Sunday to do some personal scouting(and rooting).
The prospect I've been following all year is Chris Suero. He is now at Binghamton where he has primarily been a catcher, but also plays OF and 1B.
And he is an enigma.
He's a "three outcomes" player but not the usual three. He hits homers(11) , steals bases(23) and strikes out - a LOT 91K in 234 AB).
So it is no wonder that his BA is currently .197.
A catcher with speed and power should certainly be a prospect. Now, if he can only correct that strikeout problem..
He's only 22 so maybe there's a chance.
