Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 18, 2011 Author Posted October 18, 2011 I think of losing Wright and Davis at the same time and replacing them by calling up Tejada, giving him Murphy and Turner's job at second, and putting Turner at third and Murphy at first. It was essentially replacing two thirds of the heart of the order with a (to that point) .200-hitting middle infielder and the bailout side of the Turner/Murphy platoon. That we ever survived that is still pretty hard to believe.
