So, my special lady friend and I are coming to the Big Apple in late August and we are going to take in a game at Citi Field on Friday, August 27th.

Does anyone have 2 extra tickets for that night against the Astros? I would be willing to pay face value and it would be even sweeter if we had CPFers to go to the game with. If the latter is the case, then a couple of beers would be on me.

If nothing else, I'll go through Mets.com or Stubhub...but wanted to check here first. PM me if you're interested.

No tickets for the 27th, but was thinking of getting a group together for the McFadden's deal on the 26th (for $30 you get pre-game drinks, and appetizer, a game ticket, and a coupon for a post-game drink). Would you be around that night?

Doh, nope...flying in the morning of Friday the 27th. We're staying in Queens that night and then headed into Manhattan for Saturday and Sunday before leaving Monday.

Looking forward to my first (and probably only) appearance at Citi Field this season on Sunday. Going to meet with Seawolf to watch the game. If anyone else will be attending that day I'd be happy to see you all as well. I hope this is the game that launches the Mets into a first place tie.

It's Girl Scouts Night at AT&T Park, so my wife and kids will stroll the warning track pre-game with their troop. Wifey and my eldest will sport Mets colors; my youngest has been told to follow suit or be left in the stadium.
