Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 A staffer mentioned it on the Sergio Ferrer Forum a few days back.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 So, my special lady friend and I are coming to the Big Apple in late August and we are going to take in a game at Citi Field on Friday, August 27th.Does anyone have 2 extra tickets for that night against the Astros? I would be willing to pay face value and it would be even sweeter if we had CPFers to go to the game with. If the latter is the case, then a couple of beers would be on me.If nothing else, I'll go through Mets.com or Stubhub...but wanted to check here first. PM me if you're interested.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 No tickets for the 27th, but was thinking of getting a group together for the McFadden's deal on the 26th (for $30 you get pre-game drinks, and appetizer, a game ticket, and a coupon for a post-game drink). Would you be around that night?
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Doh, nope...flying in the morning of Friday the 27th. We're staying in Queens that night and then headed into Manhattan for Saturday and Sunday before leaving Monday.Tight window...I know.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Made the last-minute decision to head down to see Strasburg tomorrow. Will be first time at the new Nationals Park, too.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 We're taking the LWYP to her second game ever tonight (career record: 1-0); she'll likely be wearing her Reyes shirt. Also likely: between Jose and her, her being the more active person wearing a Reyes shirt.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 Ooh - D-Dad and I will be there tonight.Would you guys like to say hi to us in Sectio 508?
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 Keep cool. Should be a hot one like the first metsonline.net picnic.

We should be somewhere in the Prom Infield neighborhood, IIRC (these were Stubhubbed a while back, and BetterHalfer's got the tickets).
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Looking forward to my first (and probably only) appearance at Citi Field this season on Sunday. Going to meet with Seawolf to watch the game. If anyone else will be attending that day I'd be happy to see you all as well. I hope this is the game that launches the Mets into a first place tie.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 This just in: The whole Lunch Family to be attending Saturday's game.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 It looks like I'll be at the Sunday the 25th afternoon game in LA.
DocTee Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 The DocTees will welcome Carlos back from the DL and the Mets back from the ASG on Thursday in San Francisco. It's Girl Scouts Night at AT&T Park, so my wife and kids will stroll the warning track pre-game with their troop. Wifey and my eldest will sport Mets colors; my youngest has been told to follow suit or be left in the stadium.

Guest themetfairy Guests Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 It's not a game, but I'll be at Citi Field on Friday and Saturday for the DMB concerts. If anyone wants to get together for a pre-concert beer, let me know.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I am eyeballing the Thursday July 29th Mets/Cards 12:10 matinee as another all day trip with Fboy. Need to scout out tickets... anyone else thinking of going that day?
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I'm actually going that day with the Gary, Keith and Ron group.I know that there are still some tickets left (even though the website says the event is sold out). But if you want to splurge ($75 per Pepsi Porch ticket includes a t-shirt) and help support a great charity, it would be cool to see you there.Even if you don't splurge, I'd still love to say hi to you and Fboy. But 'twould be cool if you could join us
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Off to the west coast to represent your CPF at the All Star game Mets/NL West tilts in SF, ARZ and LA. Thanks in advance for keeping my seat warm for me for when I return.
