Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 The big change is adding a road jersey that sez Baltimore. Home jerseys have a new sleeve patch, the bird logo is f'ed with (again) making it look fiercer and more streamlined but fortunately not NFL-level fierce. On the bad side, the black alternate is now an "anytime" jersey when previously it was Friday nites only.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 The black uni is horrible , it looks like a bad practice jersey.Slide Show[/url:1wax39j7]
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Always in favor of road greys with city name.Like the patch, see no real difference in the bird, hate all black uniforms.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Oriole bird-head logo says: "Kiss My Goddamn Ornithologically Incorrect Ass!"
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I hate the patch. And I generally like black uniforms, but not these.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 A few years ago, Angelos ordered their broadcasters (I read) to not refer to them as the Baltimore Orioles, just the Orioles. It was a Nats-related snit, I think. I guess he's figured out the Mid-Atlantic folks can read a map.
