seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30 Posted April 30 But hey, we've got Austin Slater and Eric Wagaman BOTH on the active roster now, which is the kind of roster that David Stearns fantasized about when he took this job, so LET'S GO BABY

You’re pitching today
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Oh, Brock, you haven't been through the dark times that this crew has. We're at our best when this team is killing us. Brock Beauchamp and whippoorwill 2
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 30 Posted April 30 It was weird that they couldn't take advantage of the non-competitive end of the game last night to throw Devin Williams an inning to work his stuff out. It's weird how a guy is brought into the fold to lock down close leads late, and your team utterly lacks close leads to lock down, it starts to become an open question whether he exists on your roster at all. He's like Schrödinger's closer.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Miserable weather too , some hardy souls at this game
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Remember “Spahn and sain and pray for rain”? can we just go to the pray for rain part? later
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 30 Posted April 30 See, if I'm a Yankee fan, I might look at this Wood guy and solace myself by with the notion that my team is going to pay a gajillion dollars to steal him in five years. But that ain't working for me.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Turning a double-play ball into a three-base error is big-league stuff!
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Total laughingstock and management supports it

Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I'd walk Melendez to get to Vientos. No Met has his head further up his own ass

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Mikolas is a sweet throwback with a full, brawny, ginger, Mike Schmidt moustache right off of a 1970s Topps card.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 30 Posted April 30 The Mets trying to go Raley-Weaver-Williams to close this out. Nutty.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 30 Posted April 30 And that ain't happenin' because C.J. Abrams just went deep for two runs against The Weave. whippoorwill 1
