I'm taking 5. I think the blue could be more Mets, Dodgers

if you will, blue though.

1 & 2 are too basic with no real character, #3 is slightly less basic with slightly more character and #5 the off-center GCM is unappealing. #4 has a bit more pizzazz so that gets my vote.

I went for #2.

Those two have the character of a subway sign and nothing has more character than the New York subway.

Yeah, once again not every Mets fan in America lives in the five boroughs... ot has any idea what a NYC a subway sign looks like.

KCMets where are you from? Oh that's right, Kansas City (honestly I imagine you do, I have no idea, don't tell I'm wrong because then I'll look more stupider than normal). How about we pick a design that the entire fan base can understand and relate to, not just the ones that live in the city itself, which represents abouts one-10 billionth of the US in term of geographical size?

Don't tell me I'm wrong I'm all fired up and you can't stop me.

"All the fans are true to the orange and blue"

They may as well be as accurate as possible in the logos.

The orange should be #ff5811.

We don't use *exact* team colors because it's best to stay away from anything that could turn litigious. That includes obvious branding such as the Mets script, specific colors, etc.

You forgot the green one!

It's intentional. Honestly, the green is going to be terrible with the site, which will be primarily orange and blue. Logos also need to be really versatile, and the more contrasting, complementary, etc. colors you throw into the mix, the more problematic the logo usage becomes.

A logo needs to work in one color, then two colors, then full color (if there are more than two colors). It needs to be able to be an inch wide, or ten feet wide. There's a lot that goes into the process, and a lot that needs to be considered.

No, you called me out by name. Incorrectly so, I might add. It''s

either KC or kcmets and not KCMets. Branding lol...

The 5 is fire. I love it. It’s exactly what I would’ve proposed.

It’s based on the new signage for the nyc parkways. The real GCP has the unisphere where the ball is, also cut off.

This is terrific. I was looking around for a photo of one in The wild and couldn’t find it or I would’ve proposed it earlier as a foundation.

It’s new, it’s crisp. I love it.

The subway signs are great too but I worry it’ll look too derivative - especially of the 7 line. Also… hasn’t it been done before? I feel like I’ve seen it before. Maybe not.

But the GCM sign is fresh.

It’s my clear winner. 3 is a distant second.

I don't care if you are right or wrong. The condescending tone ought to stop, though. Even as a gimmick, it makes for tough reading.

The Unisphere replacing the baseball in #5 could be cool.

It has a lot to offer, although the site template may be more programmed to work with a rectangle than a circle. The tagline is kind of cliched but works nicely in the context.

I would suggest that the arrow on the rightward sign should be pointing to the left, where the exit is relative to the sign. And mebbe the highway sign should read "G.C.M."

Also, unlike the great alternative Zvon logos, which were for private use, this is going to be representing a public (potentially munny-making) site, so we would probably not be legally allowed to use the official Mets' interlocking NY insignia.

That would make a very nice replacement to the NY Presbyterian

Health uniform patch, but I suppose we don't have that kind of an

advertising budget.
