Will all three of you be watching together then?

I have been sick all day (can't post, puking), and while I have woken up and am delighted to see the score, the color of Álvarez' mask and other bright yellow graphics used in the broadcast are triggering my gag reflex.

Here I go ... .

Yesterday, I was thinking "These guys are playing like they're PISSED!!" Today, too. Maybe this is the upside of blowing two straight to the Nats?

Are you asking a question? The answer is yes. The Mets are winning because they were pissed. Teams can just turn it on at will and win whenever the hell they feel like it. And when they lose, it's because they didn't feel like winning on that day. Because there's no luck or randomness in anything and the team that wins is always the team that wanted to win more than the other team did. In fact, the DBacks probably decided that they wanted to lose tonight's game. And so when you have a game where one team wants to win and the other team wants to lose, you get a romp like tonight's breezer.

That may be the best defensive 1-2-3 by a Mets team that I ever watched. All three of those plays were exceptional.
