I lean a whole lot on Ball Four when I do this. It got me Tommy Davis as my Met/Astro at 0.1%.



Mike Phillips as a Met/Giant surprised me at only 0.04%. I may be just at the exact right age to think that more Met fans would think of Mike Phillips.

The thing about Bouton's time in Atlanta is that it was after a five year or so gap* in his career so it wasn't

covered in BALL FOUR unless you had a later updated anniversary-type of edition (of which there were several).

His comeback was essentially a publicity stunt and the Braves were a bottom feeding organization at the time

and so were willing to take him on.

Not going to lie, I did look up SFG's 2002 squad to help with the ATL one. I was racking my brain and had a few that I didn't want to risk for fear of making it look ugly as I so liked the metsian bits. Annoyed that I didn't use Mike Hampton for the sliver slugger though, but having said that thinking about him for the Sliver Slugger lead me to thinking of the Bumgarner one.
