bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 I'm curious.Round it up if it's 2/3 and down if it's 1/3 or even a quick check of the score.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Hard to say, I've flipped over to it a lot and when it's on it's muted of course. Theworld should start a class action suit against Buck for saying he was going to retirelike five years ago and he's still around mucking up large sporting events. J. Yuck. I took 8, but it could be as high as 10.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Zero. I've watched a total of ten World Series games since 1996.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Zero. Was hoping for a sweep either way just to get it over with.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 I don't see the point of starting to watch a game when I can't watch the ending. MLB continues to make it hard for anybody east of the Rockies to stay up for the ending of a playoff game. And they never learn. But LOOGYs have to pitch to three batters, so that makes it all better.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Going to sleep not knowing the final outcome isn't a thing for me because Idon't really care who wins. Some highlights the following morning with my coffeedoes just fine. It's baseball, it will be gone soon. And if the rumblings come to fruition, it may be gone longer than many of us would like.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Zero. Watch the highlights in the morning, but I'm not committing to any real-time viewing at all.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 I threw game 1 on but only because Ceetar, Seawolf and I were recording our https://www.barleyprose.com/beer/mets-on-tap-episode-28-zambrano-hefner-and-the-mob/Mets/beer podcast "Mets on Tap" and I figured it might come up. Other than that, no. Missed the entirety of game 2.
Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Zero. I usually watch games on my MLB app but postseason games are't shown there. So I check the score a couple times during the night.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Zero.I have been watching the Brooklyn Nets though.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 A few innings half-watching during the podcast, and a few innings half-watching at the bar while hosting trivia Wednesday night.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 =duan post_id=80352 time=1635511772 user_id=99]It starts at 1am for me …
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 I'm the (so far only) vote for 15 innings. That's an approximation, I'd like to watch it all but MLB keeps making it hard to do so.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Maybe seven or so.As much as I don't like Buck, I'm liking Smoltz the more I listen. He's letting us into the pitcher's (and catcher's) head when describing how each batter should be pitched. Sometimes it becomes information overload (like McCarver used to do) but very interesting.Later
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 I've always liked TV Smoltz.
