Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 No roster moves (yet) for McNeil and Almora? If they're unavailable the Mets' bench will consist of two catchers and no one else.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Khalil Lee will take Almora's place. McNeil is available off the bench.

kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Harvey Day, let's light him up and run him early.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 A different kind of Harvey day. Light him up.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 I've got to say, the Mets outfielders have really been giving themselves up.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Harv got a nice hand from the fans in attendance. Now, go light him up.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Author Posted May 12, 2021 SNY says the Matt Harvey story is the biggest "What if" in Mets history.https://sny.tv/articles/matt-harvey-mets-what-if-historyhttps://sny.tv/articles/matt-harvey-mets-what-if-historyThat probably deserves its own thread, but obviously the writer hasn't followed the team for very long.Later
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Yeah, Pillar! EAT SHIT FORMER BELOVED MET HURLER
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Alonso could have read that better and scored. Not a big crime, more like a misdemeanor. And now none of it matters.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Who had Pillar and Villar as the two 2021 Mets you'd most want to see at the plate in a big situation?
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 The Mets are lighting up the Knight.

But he works for MLBN so is easy to contact if we want to go that route.
LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 We've got a definite early leader in today's Illar of the Game race.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 The May version of Lindor is more appealing than the April version.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 This is *exactly* what I was hoping for. Wonderful, well-deserved standing O from the crowd, then they whack the ball all over the place on him.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 He even got to take a clean courtesy lap with a 1-2-3 first.
