    Unless there's some risk of losing Melendez because you'd have to send him through waivers when Soto gets back, I'm a little confused by this also.

    We've had it here in AAA for a few seasons now, and I enjoy it. It takes away a little bit of the human element, yeah, but it's not intrusive.

    I think they really want folks to take public transit, and I don't disagree. Problem is that the trains aren't convenient for anyone outside of the five boroughs or northern Nassau County.

    I have to disagree with Howie's assessment of the 1986 replica ring they gave away in 1987. I still have it somewhere in the basement and I recall it feeling pretty substantial. But my fingers were a lot smaller then.
