  1. I bought 20 when they had their end of season sale, but still haven't gotten around to installing it.
  2. Ray Bourque
  3. That is, in fact, the incomparable Dwight Bernard.
  4. Dillon Gee?
  5. I was 100% confident that was Pedro Feliciano, but it's not because handedness.
  6. We loved this movie. It was totally over the top.
  7. Dum säkerhet.
  8. =ashie62 post_id=33334 time=1584050434 user_id=90] Is it really worth trying to make up so many games?? For what purpose? Because they can?
  9. Probably for the best for now.
  10. Okay, so apparently NOBODY remembers poor Donnie Hart, so Edgy was mostly right. The defense behind Mr. Hart in the eighth: 1B: Alonso 2B: McNeil 3B: Hechavarria SS: Rosario LF: JD Davis CF: Lagares RF: Altherr C: Nido Hart got Jacob Stallings to ground to short, Pablo Reyes to ground to second, and then pitcher Parker Markel, in his first major league AB, to ground to third. https://leaptoad.com/mets/gamedetail.php?gameno=9302https://leaptoad.com/mets/gamedetail.php?gameno=9302
  11. 1B: Alonso 2B: McNeil 3B: SS: Rosario LF: JD Davis CF: RF: Altherr C: Nido WHAMMO it was a Thor game, which is why we got Nido behind the plate.
  12. 1B: Alonso 2B: McNeil 3B: SS: Rosario LF: JD Davis CF: RF: Altherr C: Yes indeed!
  13. 1B: Alonso 2B: McNeil 3B: SS: Rosario LF: JD Davis CF: RF: C: Davis is correct. Conforto started in right, but left when we went up by 11.
  14. 1B: Alonso 2B: McNeil 3B: SS: Rosario LF: CF: RF: C: Point for Fman! McNeil started the game in right but moved to second when Cano got hurt. Hit one of three Met home runs in the game, too.
  15. Edgy MD wrote: I seem to remember the game was a blowout (victory? loss?) and that would suggest that some regulars might have gotten pulled by the time he entered, but that's harder to do now that we have to have 18-man pitching staves. Correct. We were up 13-1 when he entered the game. Faced three batters, retired them all via groundout. (One was to Rosario.)
  16. Johnny Lunchbucket wrote: I'll say Buffalo Boy was catching Nope. This was a day that he wouldn't have normally been catching.
  17. 1B: Alonso 2B: 3B: SS: Rosario LF: CF: RF: C: Points for both of you! BUT -- Alonso actually didn't start the game. Todd Frazier started at first, and Alonso replaced him in the 7th. Rosario started and batted 6th.
  18. Edgy MD wrote: In fairness, I'm not sure all the defenders on the field at the time he was pitching remember Donnie Hart. Quiz time, baby!
  19. Edgy MD wrote: In fairness, I'm not sure all the defenders on the field at the time he was pitching remember Donnie Hart. Let's see if *we* remember. One point per post, no back-to-back posting. 1B: 2B: 3B: SS: LF: CF: RF: C:
  20. Frayed Knot wrote: One of these years I'm going to start this thread the day after the season ends and I'm convinced Wolfie will still claim that we had done this already. Yup. Edgy MD wrote: 29) Donnie Hart 30) Rajai Davis Rajai's lawyers would like to file a grievance.
  21. =Fman99 post_id=32826 time=1583413079 user_id=86] He's back to choking up and putting it in play. This is first half squirrel, the .335 guy with occasional juice, not the second half squirrel that hit .270 with more power and held the bat at the knob (or where the knob would be). He can be either hitter, I think, at will, depending on what his approach is.
  22. I would absolutely relegate the Mets to AAA for eternity if it would mean we'd save our country and give my kids a future that they could be proud of. It's just baseball.
  23. It won't happen because he's blocked in too many ways, but Dom Smith could carve himself out piece of the FotF pie. He might be my favorite Met right now.
  24. MFY fan friend of mine posted that he dropped cable yesterday morning for YouTube TV, and then they made that announcement a few hours later. LOLOLOLOLOL
  25. 36-0. 0.48 ERA. 0.76 WHIP Five no-hitters. Hits a grand slam in August. Cures coronavirus in March. Cy Young's ghost submits an op-ed advocating that the award be re-named the "Jacob deGrom Award". There's no WAY he gives up that many runs. 0.36 ERA, but the rest is spot-on.
