If you want to get technical, the "H" who played more games than any other at 3B for the Mets was Richie Hebner. It was all in one season (1979), and he made 22 errors, but he's not a terrible pick, considering he hit .268 and drove in 79 runs.

I'd give Wade Miller a shot. He's youngish (30 in September), can strike guys out, won 45 games in three years from 01-03, and his bbr page is sponsored by a Pooler.

I'm not bothered by the WBC thing. I know there's an injury risk, but (a) there's an injury risk of him getting hit by a meteor also, and ( he'd be pitching during that time anyway, it would just be in ST games. So I don't really care either way.
