    I attended my first Mets game in person sometime in 1976 or 1977, I would think. But I have no way of knowing what day or who they played, I do not recall even who the opponent was. Maybe a Cubs game?

    I think this is the year that Alvarez, Vientos and Baty all show that a single good year, or stretch of months, isn't just a fluke in each case. Because I'm optimistic. I also drink a decent amount, that helps

    We enjoyed watching him pitch here in Syracuse last summer. I don't have any specific memories of him at either AAA or the big league club though.

    He had good MLB numbers last year albeit a small sample (2.25 ERA in 14 IP). Here's hoping for the dead cat bounce with this guy

    Senga's inclusion really requires a six man rotation. He can't take the ball every fifth day.

    Peralta certainly hit his (so far) high water mark last year but he also has a career ERA/WHIP of 3.59/1.13 and has started 30+ games each of the last three years. I like this deal. Sproat departing while Tong + McLean stay, which I think all along was the most likely outcome amongst those three.

    Acuna did not really have a spot in the 2025 plan, far as I could see. Fwife is pissed. Acuna was her favorite Syracuse Met the last two years. I am hoping Luis Robert is not the 2026 Cedric Mullins. Because the 2025 Cedric Mullins drank some ass

    Jones and Beltran were coincidentally born one day apart, on April 23 and 24, 1977 respectively.

    Ultimately he has to decide between the longer deal with the MFYs or the shorter, higher potential one with the Mets. But, you know, any day now, there, guy.
