    Watched it all though not from a position where I could comment here, as my Grateful Dead cover bandmate Bob and I play guitars and sing Dead songs on Mondays most weeks. I definitely noticed the picture/sound being out of sync in the first inning. I also didn't initially care for the JY start over Vientos but I suppose this is why I'm not in charge of things there. Among other reasons.

    Syracuse Mets have split their opening weekend series against the Woo-Sox. Home opener is Tuesday - this first week, the Tues/Thurs/Fri games are all 4:05 PM starts instead of the usual later 6:35 PM starts that will kick in later in April. Forecast looks pretty spotty - I am unlikely to attend any games on this initial homestand. Fboy is back at the ballpark this summer, once again working in the gift shop, which means I'll have lots of comp tickets at my disposal. So that's pretty sweet

    I get the notion of leaving an open day on the calendar and in the schedule to accommodate for potential inclement weather, but I will say that waiting until Saturday for the next Mets game is some crap #hottake
