  1. Nido, unless you want to batty Baty.
  2. McNeil hit that one a good 400 feet. The Guardians are the kings of good field no hit outfielders you've never heard of.
  3. Edgy MD wrote: Man, that evening sun makes the air look packed with particulate. It's not us. It's Canadian wildfires.
  4. The HBP was a fluke. The first triple was a well placed soft liner. But now Houser is just serving up meatballs.
  5. Guardians unis don't distinguish between 1B Josh Naylor and his catching brother Bo Naylor.
  6. Section 138, field level short right, about 25 rows back.
  7. My feed is a solid 30 seconds behind yours.
  8. Edgy MD wrote: Hey, we have Short on third. Didn't Manfred ban that last year?
  9. Nice. Pretty much the same hit as the ball that went foul, except for the not going foul part.
  10. It's not the road for me, but I'll be in Section 138, short right field lower level, on Tuesday May 21 when the Mets play the Guardians. Anyone wants to come out to Cleveland and crash on my living room floor, be my guest. Literally.
  11. DJ Stewart spinning the big hits!
  12. =Cowtipper post_id=153851 time=1714522352 user_id=166] Manaea and Severino pitching like their old selves this year. If they keep it up, their top four will be one for the ages (well, in Mets terms, at least).
  13. JD Martinez joining the team today. Possible moves to make room for him include shipping DJ Stewart to Syracuse or, more likely, DFAing ZR Short. https://links.mlb.mlbemail.com/e/evib?_t=c632e003a756446c956a8e0347d00d08&_m=6c546504a9b34de38e62ff5dba47651c&_e=Bjs8vDe9mupwACUySyTjrfo0WF1ymuvZ1epsQwrsEeOJBi2xzBYjMpW4Yz_gibnnus5cEaON_RNwctajXXK2wA%3D%3Dhttps://links.mlb.mlbemail.com/e/evib?_t=c632e003a756446c956a8e0347d00d08&_m=6c546504a9b34de38e62ff5dba47651c&_e=Bjs8vDe9mupwACUySyTjrfo0WF1ymuvZ1epsQwrsEeOJBi2xzBYjMpW4Yz_gibnnus5cEaON_RNwctajXXK2wA%3D%3D
  14. The 1995 card would have somebody's opinion about who should have been MVP in 1994, no? Not that I remember either of those seasons well enough to tell the difference. I'll guess that they're referring to John Olerud, coming off that season when he flirted with .400 as a Blue Jay.
  15. His neighbor could afford a gardener? I'm going to go with a son of a major leaguer. Pre-steroid Barry Bonds of the Pittsburgh Pirates?
  16. Rheal Cormier Oops...never a Met. I could have sworn he was a late season waiver wire pickup one season.
  17. One more hit today and Lindor is off the interstate.
  18. Mets eager! Post their lineup first... https://www.kcmets.net/CPF/NYM.png> Brandon Nimmo (L) LF Starling Marte (R) DH Francisco Lindor (S) SS Pete Alonso (R) 1B Brett Baty (L) 3B Tyrone Taylor (R) RF Jeff McNeil (L) 2B Harrison Bader (R) CF Tomás Nido (R) C Edgy speaks, the Mets listen.
  19. =whippoorwill post_id=152478 time=1713471704 user_id=79] Coincidentally this afternoon my hubby and I went shopping at a little town nearby where there's a bunch of Amish stores and we stopped for lunch at the ‘Twilite Diner'
  20. Lots of Willies in the game, but if you just say "Willie", I think everyone would know who you meant.
  21. Hank. If I just heard "Hank" without context, I'd have to ask whether you meant Aaron or Greenberg, even if Aaron was clearly the best Hank.
  22. Davey Lopes OE: I somehow read the question as looking for hits, not home runs, and was thinking "WTF? Eric Karros?" But Lopes actually did have some power and might pop up in the top 6 anyway.
