No idea why he's not in yet. All ten of his closest comps on BBRef are in, so he has a strong case even before giving him a well-deserved bump for being Dr. Frank Jobe's guinea pig.

I'm going to guess that #1 was famed dildo-in-his-locker guy Kevin Plawecki.

Another guy who had a few seasons in Cleveland before hitting it big was Luis Tiant.

Guidry is a common Cajun name. Crotchfelt is not.

He demonstrated - once upon a time - that he could mash. The nice thing about a lost season like this one is that the team can afford to experiment. Put him back in the lineup when he's healthy and see if he figures it out. If not, he's a non-tender at the end of the season or maybe even a DFA before that.

If nothing else good comes out of this season, it's been fun watching Carson Benge turn into a major league ballplayer.

Now at your Northeast Ohio Jeep Dealers. I'm reminded of this at least every other inning.

Jeep. The vehicle for Real Americans who aren't so hot at American history.

That was pretty. I still have an early 70s Mets fan love of small ball, even if it doesn't usually make sense in 2026.

You're saying I could have missed the past six weeks of crap baseball AND saved eighty dollars???

    Oh, for fuxsake.

    Not today, Satan.

Torrens is replacing Rene Rivera as my all time favorite Mets backup catcher. Saved a wild pitch and a run right there

    The Melendez legend continues.

I just turned on the TV, so this one's my fault. Sorry, folks.

Is 🍆♥️👵 still on the roster? I thought he'd been DFAed.

To nobody's surprise, I'll take the Guardians. August 4-6.
