I hear Yoenis Cespedes is a free agent too. No, seriously, Springer is a guy. Realmuto is a guy. I always say this but remember Ozuna best as an overmatched young guy who now looks like a good but rapidly fattening old guy now. Plus he can't field. We should seriously see if Rosie can play center field this winter.

Yeah it takes some bravery to come out as strong as Lupica did in the moment, and the record shows he got a lot of this take right, including Torres managing career. Come out firing and being dead wrong, like Dick Young often did, is far easier it seems.

None of us really know which is why a biography to me sounds more interesting than I would suspect an autobiography will be. That said, you're right they might both be boring

He's still so darn wholesome and polite and comes off only so real. I think DiComo is very good at what he does but my expectation going in is that I'm gonna learn less about David Wright than there is, if there is more, in this book than I want there to be. Might also come to nothing, but a weapons-grade investigative journalist doing deep research on the "real" David Wright makes for a more interesting book premise, to my imagination

I've often been tempted to become an Athletic Supporter but resisted. I figure if its really important the locals will have it, and I don't read anything free or otherwise about the NFL, NBA, College Sports, Olympics, pro soccer etc. I wonder if they'd give me the hockey-MLB package at a 60% discount
