    I won't spoil much, she was something of a phony journalist who'd gone there in hopes of gathering a story to sell to a US editor. The soldier who shtupped her had taken her passport and phone so as to "protect" her from antiamerican political forces. The movie could have or should have been more suspenseful given what happens after she meets the English guy. I thought the look was good.

    He also gives such lie to all the stuff my friend relayed about his son and implied that size matters too much than it obviously does in Jetts case at least. I think that means what i "missed" and should have probably said is that size only matters when they "weed out" they guys who are "iffy" to begin with.

    We actually did a rent through Amazon. I gave it a 7 because the performances were good, the music made me take notice, and it was unique, but to me, the great ambition fell a little short of a completely satisfying execution. Worth seeing/listening to. [media=youtube]egHsU2zBgKI[/media]

    I went many years ago on a humid summer night. The power went out. Burnitz hit a home run, and there were numerous brawls in the stands... figured out later the fighters came from an afternoon Cubs game. Donuty park, dark corridors for bleh food.

    We've had like 10 threads on this flick. I've remarked in the past that it's one flaw is in overburdening the villian.. its not enough that the same guy interrupts their swimming hole meetup, but he happens to be retrieving a Frisbee they run over, he's heavily involved in the bar fight, his girl happens to fall in love with Stoller and he's the main Little 500 rival. They could do a sequel on the story from his perspective and call it BROKEN AWAY
