we saw a screening with a talk from the director afterward. I would have thought of the show as journalism and it is but the director thought he was making a movie. Great scene where the lion eats the elephant while the DeBeers guy is going on about how diamond mining is good for Botswana

I like the movie. In defense of the historic goofs, it wasn't made for baseball fans, as much as it as made for Brad Pitt fans who wouldn't know the difference.
He kinda half-did. I was thinking at the end of this that it was a story that could have had an excellent sequel potential, but the reviews for STAYIN ALIVE were so uniformly bad I'd probably never try it.
