It's a hatewatch classic for me. Lots of my high school frenemies loved this unironically and played the soundtrack album at parties and proms in the spring of 84. If you reflexively hated popular things like me, there was a lot of hate. There's actually good performances by the minister and his wife, and the cowboy sidekick. And maybe even Bacon when he isn't flying around the grain mill like a fruit cake. The chick wasn't desirable at all. She probably should have wound up back with her abusive boyfriend who by the way Ren could never have punched out. For a music movie, not that much good music including pukers like Almost Paradise and Heaven Helps the Man

As I recall it this show got worse as it went on. I wanted it to be a workplace show and they spent so much time at Don's house I got sick of it and dropped out at some point.

Half you guys are gonna pick guys who get released in spring training. I think we need a few weeks of spring training to make a better guess. Also, Butto shouldn't be eligible as he's already awesome

looking through this thread, fun to see those clamoring for a 7 or 8 year deal all the way to panicked calls to trade him. Also proves nobody could foresee the second half. This is great tho. An audition is when you give someone a tryout at something. LOL

So we saw this and felt it was kinda funny. Was expecting a 2.5 at best but it delivered a solid 3. (Wifey: 3.5). I don't even remember the score or what the Bedchel Test is.

They actually don't get much snow as cities located on Great Lakes go, for whatever reason. Buffalo gets a ton more for example. And there's dense luxury living where Pete would barely have to leave his home to go play, or just get ubers directly from his heated parking garage. It's a paradise up there I'm telling you. The only reason Pete would prefer here to there is because he voted for the wrong candidate

Really good performances, won a bunch of awards, but it was a little draggy for me and the plot worked out more or less like I thought it would. The twists were realistic but as a result not twisty enough for a tension-filled movie. -
