  1. Brett Baty has gone 0 days without my thinking he would be better off in Binghamton
  2. Pham is the 1st position player to wear no. 39 in 28 years. Last one was Benny Agbayani before he switched to 50. Also Kelvin Torve and Phil Lombardi. Exclusive club.
  3. Polanco leading the league in medium-deep fly balls
  4. They probably had to to beat an upcoming opt-out.
  5. Last year you could tell they were just going through the motions. Nobody wanted to do anything, most of all Soto who to me comes off as a crashing bore as a player and deeply reserved as a person. I thought I saw a one handed basketball shot from someone this year but it probably won;t catch on given the guy with the most hits doesn't bother
  6. McLean looks like a throwback from the 1990s with his goatee and smallish stature.
  7. First look, into the Pirates, which looks like Batman or some shit. Wisco sounds like an industrial league slow-pitch team. BMORE stupid, amirite? Braves look good but powder blue is already getting old again. Agree, Rangers look like a college football team. I pretty much hate all their looks except those whacky early 70s look when they were the Majors' worst team. Padres, who cares. I think this is already their 3rd CC look
  8. Any pitcher can have a bad day, and Peterson had one, but the offense has looked like shit all year long
  9. there was that former Met who was manager for one year. He might have only been a farmhand. Hispanic guy.
  10. SB -- Tony Womack, uh, 299 oh single season. Tony Womack 65
  11. There's absolutely no reason the team couldn't "raise numbers to the rafters" without retiring them.
