  1. Comic horror mockumentary about the mundane hijinx of a group of vampires who share a house in New Zealand. Very funny. Apparently being adapted to a TV show set in New York.

  5. Widowed taxi driver unwittingly takes a German journalist by cab into the Gwangju Uprising in South Korea in 1980. Deadly hijinx ensue. I was more ignorant of the details of this actual event than the titular cab driver, so consider me educated as much as entertained and horrified. The cab ride depicted also really happened but I think it takes dramatic licence from there. Starts off as a goofy comedy then descends into a heartbreaking action tragedy.
