bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 (edited) Just the Mets, just the Mets. Step right up and predict the Mets:1--Mets record for 20152--Where the Mets will finish in the NL East3--Whether the Mets will make the playoffs and if so, how far they will go.To encourage more participation, I'm posting this a week earlier than last year. As always, don't be a J.J. Putz and write "162-0." Edited March 29, 2015 by Guest
dgwphotography Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 78-843rd place.No play-offs.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Didn't we do this already?84 wins. 2nd place. No playoffs.
dinosaur jesus Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 91. 2nd. Lose in the second round.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I'm not JJ Putz but I'm constitutionally unable in March to write down anything but my brightest scenario no matter how flawed the team.102-60, 1st place, all the way!!!(92-70 is more like it, but they also go all the way in that scenario too)

Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 90-72. 1st place.I'd put in the sick day for 10/29 now if I were you. See you in downtown Manhattan.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) 82-80. No playoffs. Outside of starting pitching, this team has no depth. Better luck next year. Edited March 30, 2015 by Guest
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I will say that, while I'm sticking with my 84 win prediction, the Mets offense has been very impressive this spring. Spring stats don't mean much to me, but if the guys can bring the bats north and be as consistent as they have been over the past three weeks for long stretches of this season...then the sky is the limit.
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 85-773rd placeno playoffs (late run for the 2nd WC comes up short)
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I'll go w/ JCL's under92-70All the way.

batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 This is the first time in the Citi Field era that I'd say the Mets have a shot at the playoffs. Still, too much has to break their way. 84-78.
