Perez gets a grounder to Wright, but Rollins gets to first before the DP can be completed.

Two out, two on. Victorino batting.

"Right knee soreness."

.....not "Right leg shortness"?

4 years of this huh? 4 years of cranky knees and infield power!

No.

If he can't play, they'll eat the contract. Don't worry about the four years.

Meanwhile, Perez pitches out of his jam and, I imagine, has taken a nice happy leap over the foul line.

Ollie's a matador. A bullfighter. Gets 'em worked up then escapes with a flourish.

Ughhh.
The 3-2 pitch to Burrell looked like a strike on the inside to me, but he gets the free pass.

FUGLY!

The worst chin fuzz of the year contest has already been decided and the winner is Nick Swisher for his oddly-shaped and blond-dyed goatee-like patch.

Ninety-four pitches is a short workday.

I agree with going to the bullpen here even though Perez had yet to allowa run. two walks in an inning worries me far more than two singles would have, call it a day and get a fresh arm in there.

So, Phils on 1st and 3rd, 2 out, Feliz at-bat.

Smith goes to work.

And.....................walks the bases loaded.
Gah.

Phils broadcast just showed some really nice footage of Shea's 1st year.
Very nice.

Now they are taking about Tommie Agee and how he was one of the hardest sliders in the game.
I never really thought of him as such but thinking back this is true.

Fair point, but as we are seeing with Reyes you have to deal with a selfish, me-first malcontent hot dog when things don't go according to plan.

Robinson was a winning ballplayer with tons of heart and determination, can you REALLY say that about Rickey Henderson?

Yes Henderson does have an MVP, but really, was Henderson THAT much of a difference maker on those A's teams? Or those Blue Jays teams a few years later?

Give me a few Robinson types over a few Henderson/Reyes types if I want to build a winner.

i guess you want Jeters over Arods too? stop talking about BS like "heart" and "determination" and try discussing actual contributions towards winning.
