metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Phillies beat the Mets now nine straight, going back to last June.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2008 Author Posted April 8, 2008 I was at the game at Citizens Bank Park that started this Phillie losing streak. It was the final game of a four-game series, and the Mets had won the first three. It was the game where Julio Franco didn't run out a ground ball.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 I was there too. That game turned on more than Julio's loafing, however. I recall it was a bad start by Pelfrey.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Yup. All the more reason that Willie should be pulling non-runners left and right. There can't be consequences only for the 25th guy.
