To each his own.

One-out single for Aramis Ramirez in the 4th.

Yance, what was the reason Coney was in the booth?

Cone just dropped in to say hi.

I don' thiink a guy has a no-hitter going until the fifteenth out or so.

Beltran walks to lead off the fourth.

And besides, if Prior wants to keep walking peeps in trying to no-hit the Mets, I'll take it.

Gary points out that Beltran has only one SB attempt in the last 37 games, not counting the All-Star game.

Delgado pops to the catcher.

True, just trying to use the karma about saying a guy has a no-no going to get us some hits

Wright and Valentin are out. Mets don't score.

0-0 after 4.

The guy in the diner raises an interesting question:

Why doesn't the TV-head guy have an antenna or wires?

The better question is why is he a cathode-ray-tube head when flatscreens are overtaking the industry?

Cubs go 1-2-3 in the fifth.

Castro was DEATH on that popup ;)

Inning over - scoreless going to the bottom of the 5th.

Nady out on a foul pop up, caught nicely by Barrett the catcher, fighting off the sun and the stands.

What's worse is that the TV head guy has to lug around that clunky outdated TV while the rest of the world switches to flat panel.

15-out threshold is reached.

Mets hitless, game scoreless, after five.

People just don't talk to one another in IGTs.

Kind of like riding on an elevator. Just keep quiet and focus on the numerical display.

JD did you get that Seaver image I sent you? I thought it was chuckle worthy

In a 1967 team picture at Shea Seaver appears to be wearing #4 not #41. Swoboda is in the picture but his uni number is not visable

Probably either a gag or Seaver's unis were in the wash or some other darn thing, just a funny bit I guess

With one out, Pierre bunts his way on, despite a heroic attempt by Valentin to scoop the ball to Delgado.

Good point, Elster. Also, whenever I pee on the elevator I try to avoid eye contact.
