Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I thought this might be the final game out west, but then I checked the schedule. Apparently the Mets are now an NL West team, get used to it. Also, if anyone wants to create a game thread, just create it early, or ping me the day before that you'd like to create it. Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I guess no one has told Brock/Brandon the IGT rules? on the other hand. We’ve had those rules in place for years and haven’t won a thing so maybe we boot them like we did Pete. Anyway, back to the Mets. Have to wait for JCL to officially declare, but today feels like a big game.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Also. I went back and looked at the 2025 Mets’ Sunday record. Wasn’t quite as bad as I posted, but they were 2-7 over the last 9 Sundays in 2025.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 We've mentioned the rules in every mis-started IGT. But alas. 🤣 MFS62 1

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Looks like is you want to start a IGT following the CPF rules then get it up early
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 5 Author Posted April 5 If someone wants to alert me of something, they need to @ me or private message me. I don’t care who starts game threads, I only care that they’re up early. Participation is much higher if a thread is up early, and we have to create a site banner and whatnot for it. whippoorwill and metirish 2
Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Taking three of four from the Giants would be great! Here's hoping Senga is back to where we hoped he'd be! metirish 1
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 @Brock Beauchamp - typically at the CPF, if you started an IGT and the Mets won, then you started the next game's thread and continued to do so after each consecutive Mets win, for as long at that streak lasted. After a loss, anyone was free to start the next game's thread.

Though Brandon and I alternate based on day, so we’re basically interchangeable.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Opening the broadcast with Steve Gelbs interview of Clay Holmes. That's a wrinkle.
whippoorwill Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 (edited) What time is this game? sorry I just saw it says 4 right in the thread title 🤦♀️ Edited April 5 by whippoorwill Dumbness
whippoorwill Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Is there often a beer ad in the middle of an at bat on SNY?
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Tood seems to have developed a good vibe with Gary in the booth, I would think SNY see Todd as a long term analyst in the near future BTW the sound and colors look way off today and honestly since John DeMarsico left I notice the telecast isn't as good
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Curious to see how Senga does today on normal (for American pitchers) rest which historically has been bad for him
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Luis Arráez who else gets the Giants first hit
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Young with a great throw to nail Encarnacion at second base
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Senga is looking very good, bats needs to get going
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Giants tie it up at 1 with an RBI double by Chapman, 2 out in the 6th
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Crap way to get knocked out of the game for Senga.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Devers drops on in front of Roberts in center , Senga out, Giants take to lead 2-1
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Y'all gotta stop shit-posting about Jared Young. He can do stuff.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 5 Posted April 5 One play I have hoped to see my whole life is a two-base tag-up. I'm thinking if Young didn't pull it off on that play where Bader fell down, I'm not going to see it.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Probably the right call holding the runner, but the once-aggressive Tim Leiper seems consistently conservative since that first series.
