I too like the idea but not the execution.

 

It's the execution AND the lack of originality of the idea for me.

Oooh, let's do a variation of something that half the teams in the league beat us to years ago.

And then there's the lack of overall theme and the cheap "Let's Make A Deal" looking costumes.

It happened again on Monday when I was there. It was again sad to see. If was again scripted with one of the runners falling down at a key moment. Nobody sitting near me seemed to care.

Speaking of scripted, it was recently brought to my attention that the Bronx Giraffe has yet to win a single race.

I haven't thought about this 'race' essentially since it was announced, but I find this kind of funny even if obvious and something I should have seen coming.
