Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 Is Yan Gomes anywhere in the vicinity? We can sign him for one day until Logan Porter's plane arrives.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 Bases loaded, 1 out in the 8th.Bader at the plater
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 Let's give Álvarez some fireworks here.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 Cool. I thought they might call that a strike.
Methead Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 Dudes just out there making the plays of their lives
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 This Brewer team is leaving it all out there. The Braves owe them some thanks.

kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 Well... I kinda liked the Brew Crew softball jerseys.Other than that, upward and onward mañana....
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 Put it in the books ... the books of SUCK, amiright fellas?!?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 So much weirdness in that game.Really impressed by the balls-out-iness of the Brewer effort. The Mets, on the other hand, look like a team coming back from a week off. Stiff and tight, apart from Iglesias, who is still playing like a man possessed.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 Stiff. Definitely not 100%.Can't really blame the umps for this fiasco, as the hitting largely stunk and Manaea had no command. But if that egregious third strike call weren't made against Alvarez, it could have been a completely different game.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 Plus, the Brewers had nothing to play for. So I have no idea how the hell they beat the Mets. I thought all their batters would've struck out on person so they could lose real fast and head on out to Carnevor for a steak before the joint closed.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 In a reply it is noted that the low pitch is on the knee
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 Unresolved mysteries: why did the Brewers hit Winker on purpose? And why did nobody else care?
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 Did Winker a favor as I think he'd forgotten his way to first base.Let's hope he can retaliate with his bat
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 Pete ,JD and Jesse must be O for forever
