Really impressed by the balls-out-iness of the Brewer effort. The Mets, on the other hand, look like a team coming back from a week off. Stiff and tight, apart from Iglesias, who is still playing like a man possessed.

Can't really blame the umps for this fiasco, as the hitting largely stunk and Manaea had no command. But if that egregious third strike call weren't made against Alvarez, it could have been a completely different game.

Plus, the Brewers had nothing to play for. So I have no idea how the hell they beat the Mets. I thought all their batters would've struck out on person so they could lose real fast and head on out to Carnevor for a steak before the joint closed.
