Yeah I'm all about this too. Pretty sweet. I'm 7 right of 9 this morning, trying to think of 2 more players who played for both the Tigers and Anaheim/Tampa.

I got six. But my Tiger/Angel had only been selected by 0.1% of guessers, so I had that going for me.

I got 6, missing all the players who had played for two teams with the exception of the Angels/Cardinals gimme.

I was surprised that only 0.2% of people picked the same 20-win, .300 average pitcher I did. I'm not sure if the two obvious great hitting pitchers ever won 20 in a season - I'm fairly certain the active one hasn't - so I didn't go with either of them.

Same here. I don't know Angels and Detroit especially, feel like I'd do better with NL clubs

The Mets pedigrees helped - that was how I got the StL/TB overlap and, had I thought about it, I would have gotten the TB/Det overlap for the same reason.

Still working on this one. So far I have seven. I have three green boxes in the top row and three green boxes in the bottom row. And I have the third box in the middle row. I can barely think of any Tampa players at all, much less any who also played for the Cardinals or Tigers. (Although I did think of a .300 hitter.) Maybe something will click for me.

20-wins, .300 hitter: Babe Ruth 88%

My guess is 5% (including meself) went with Carew, while a much larger percentage went with Mike Trout, with a few Tim Salmon fans and the like sprinkled in there.

My 20-win .300-hitter was Don Drysdale, which they accepted.

Because we're getting old. I thought of Alex Johnson before Trout. I wonder what the percentage is on AJ?

Good one.

I'm thinking that a review of Newcombe's Hall of Fame case might be worthwhile. After taking into account years lost to military service, years lost to segregation, and his outstanding hitting prowess, his legacy may shine a little brighter. He also finished his career as an outfielder/firstbaseman in Japan.

Crappy post-season record, though. And an ugly drinking problem.

Got stumped on my last guess trying to come up with a Giant/Red, of all things.

First time I played officially. I should have swept the board but I only got 8 out of 9, because I didn't know all of the rules and so I was penalized one guess. Maybe youse don't know this rule that tripped me up, either. If so, this'll be a lesson. Here's what happened:

I was studying the grid and noticed that Joe Morgan was a correct answer to five of the nine boxes. So I thought I'd answer Morgan wherever appropriate. But when I tried to enter Morgan a second time, I got a message that I had already used Morgan and was docked one guess. So I was only allowed to make eight guesses. Apparently, you're not allowed to repeat a player in a given game.

Here's how I did:

Reds-Astros: Joe Morgan (46%)

Reds-Giants: George Foster (1%)

Reds-MVP: Johnny Bench (18%)

Pirates-Astros: Milt May (0.04%!)

Pirates-Giants: Rick Reuschel (0.3%)

Pirates-MVP: Dick Groat (0.6%)

30 SB-Astros: BLOCKED -- (Would've answered Cesar Cedeno if not Morgan)

30 SB-Giants: Bobby Bonds (9%)

30 SB-MVP: Maury Wills (0.6%)
