Whew. That inning scared me

Yeah, I'm glad there's room for a Pablo Sandoval in this league. I was just terrified during that at-bat.

Man, it always surprises me that Shane Greene (a) isn't a Phillie, and (B) never has been.

It's just the Philliest of names.

McKinney is 0 for his last 16. He was a great pickup but I guess that he'll get sent down when Nimmo returns.

We traded for Diaz specifically to strike out that guy in that spot. VERY nice.

Long game, but lotsa action.

Even with a four-run pad, I can't say I'm feeling good about the Mets seemingly have no other available pitchers.

Tylor Megill makes his MLB debut. Mr. and Mrs. Fafif make their 2021 Citi Field debut. Perhaps somebody who isn't a Brave crosses a plate.

The action commences at 7:10. May none of us crumple in pain.

I made it to the middle of the 9th. I felt pretty good about going to bed with the Mets up 4. Four hour games can eat a bag of stewed assholes.

I like this kid. Maybe this is 2014 deGrom.

Was this before or after the booth said they both made their debut at 25 years and 322 days old (or whatever it was).

I like him in the rotation, at least for now. I think it'll mean a lot if the team can back him and take the burden of perfection of his shoulders.

Mostly not particularly high. MLB.com had him at 21st but this year he has already passed number #20 Franklyn Kilome and #10 Thomas Szapucki.

But that just feeds the deGrom comparison. Jacob got to AAA and blew past Zack Wheeler and Rafael Montero. Prospect ranking is educated guesswork. THEY CAN'T SEE A MAN'S HEART!
