Leigh Ann Loup inadvertantly kept Aaron out of the 2015 ALDS after her water broke shortly after the Jays flight landed in Texas. The newly Loupless Jays pulled it out anyhow as Aaron kept vigil on his wife and arriving child, pacing back and forth before the hospital telly.



Leigh Ann, sometimes stylized as "Leighann," was Aaron's high school sweetie, which can often be seen as preferable to the beauty industry professionals ballplayers tend to court, but it provides for fewer publicly available photos. She frequently wears her hair short and sporty, which goes well with the boyish face of her professional pitcher of a husband.

She's from Eureka, California and attended school on a volleyball scholarship, graduating with a degree in mass communications.
